Вовча Тропа 2021 Camper Pick-up Procedures & Guidelines

We have had an extreme amount of rain this year. Some roads are compromised and any unpaved surface is extremely soft and muddy. Grassy areas may look fine, but they are not. Vehicles are getting stuck everywhere. Please adhere to the parking locations listed below and pay attention to our volunteers’ instructions. Wear boots.

Because of the volume of campers be considerate of others, and head out as soon as your child/ren are loaded.

1.     Time slots will be assigned to each family and emailed ahead of time. Please arrive during your assigned timeframe. There will be no checkpoints – you can drive up to your designated tabir as per below. Please adhere to your assigned time slots.

2.     Pick-up will be as follows by tabir:

a.     Tabir Yunakiv: campers will be in the main lower parking lot with their gear/vyriad. Please park in the main parking lot.

b.     Tabir Yunachok: campers’ gear/vyriad will be next to the white building (Pochatkoviy Tabir). Park on the downhill road to the sports field and in this general area.

c.     Tabir Novakiv/Novachok: campers will be in their barracks / tents (orlyata). Please park in the parking lot next to tabir Novakiv, and the lower parking lot by Novachky, on the black top. Proceed to your campers’ barrack or tent to pack them up.

d.     U2: their gear/vyriad will be brought to the main lower parking lot (where you dropped them off).

3.     Please pack up your campers as quickly as you can and leave the oselia. Please do not linger, as we have a lot of campers that need to be picked-up and vehicles on the oselia. Many of the roads on the oselia are not passable due to the heavy rains so please be cautious. DO NOT DRIVE ON ANY GRASSY AREAS.

4.     Please be considerate of other parents/guardians picking up, other vehicles on the oselia, and all of our volunteers. Remember - go slow when driving and be patient when passing others on the roads and looking for parking spots.

5.     No one will be allowed to drive on the following roads – they are not accessible:

·  Road to Tabir Yunachok (no one is allowed past the white building)

·  Road to Tabir Yunakiv (past main parking lot)

6.     Please wear a mask when you are on the oselia, even if you are fully vaccinated, both indoors and outdoors. You are on the oselia for a short time. We are not asking for negative testing results prior to your arrival and we ask that you be considerate of all of our staff, bulava and campers that have been on the oselia since the beginning of tabir. We have been a Vovcha Bubble since the beginning! No need for test results. If you refuse to wear a mask, then do not exit your vehicle.

7.     No one will be allowed to enter any of the buildings (admin/red building, шпиталик, крамниця, buffet, kitchen). For parents of tabir Novachok and Novakiv, you will be allowed to enter your camper’s barrack or tent only. Wear masks.

8.     Medications: if you left medications (OTC or prescription) for your camper, these medications will be dispensed as follows:

a.     Tabir Yunachok/Yunakiv: given to the camper on Saturday morning to be packed

b.     Tabir Novakiv/ Novachok: left on their bed Saturday morning

9.     Kramnytsia: Kramnytsia will be closed. If your camper has money left on their account, please consider this a donation to the oselia – thank you!
